To jump rope
context Art Miami
NOV 29-DEC 4

To Jump Rope featured there public art projects by Abigail Reyes, Patricio Majano and Fredy Solano (Poker). Curated by Y.ES director Claire Breukel and commissioned by CONTEXT Art Miami, To Jump Rope explored notions of migration, specifically how movement between places is dictated by socio-political conditions, as well as the impact of being torn apart from "home."

I am leaving. You are arriving? Migration
I will try to climb over. Will you stay there? Boundary
I am here now. You are not here, why? Absence
